About the movie
Tom Jones is based on a novel, 'The History of Tom Jones, a Foundling' written by Henry Fielding. The story is staged in ancient Britian and revolves around a young womanizer who is adopted and being raised by a landlord. The womanizer madly falls in love with a girl who belongs to another landlord family. Their love is, however, rejected by girl’s family.
