About the movie
Torsha, a little girl namesake of the river, comes from a privileged family. She befriends a group of children who live in a fishermen`s slum built on the bank of the river and tries to reform their lives. When the slum dwellers are faced with a crisis of their existence. Torsha appeals to her dad, the district magistrate, to intervene in the matter and save their community. Things begin to change thereafter.
