About the movie
Murugesan (Pasupathi) is a simple but honest villager who fetches water for establishments in his village. He often falls into trouble but is bailed out each time. When a police inspector Nachiyaar (Jyotirmayi) meets him, she's drawn to his simplicity and falls in love with him. But an accidental murder implicates him, and Murugesan has the dual task of defending himself from the revenge-seekers and proving himself innocent.
