About the movie
Babaji (Dara Singh) while dying hands over the responsibility of his grand son Nikhil to his bodyguard Balraj Dutt (Amrish Puri).
One day Raj Malhotra (Akshay Kumar) and his sister are dining in a restaurant where they are attacked by a man who tries to rape Raj`s sister. She commits suicide.
Shattered, Raj witnesses a similar incident and fights away the molesters. Balraj witnesses this act and is impressed by Raj and hires him as his daughter Komal`s (Twinkle Khanna) bodyguard.
Slowly the two fall in love but things take an unexpected turn when Raj sees Nikhil and recognizes him as his sister`s culprit.
