A. Paramesh, as a director and editor, has been actively involved in advertising films and documentary films. Originally a theatre artist, he gained experience in theatre under the guidance of renowned theatre and media personalities A.S. Murthy (theatre activist and journalist) and M.S. Sathyu (theatre activist and film director).

He has participated in various theatre activities and has been associated with organizations like the Indian People`s Theatre Association (IPTA), NSD-RRC, Samudaya Thanda, Aneka Tanda, and several other theatre troupes and community-based teams. He has rich experience performing in numerous street plays and theatrical productions.

In 2014, he made his directorial debut with the film Maamu Tea Angadi. Later, in 2019, he directed the movie Kamarottu Check Post, which ran successfully for 50 days. In 2025, he directed his third film, titled Kamarottu 2, which is now released.
