A R Ravindra is an Indian director and screenwriter. Before making his movie debut, he directed the documentary The Challenger, which explores the life of a polio-stricken boy, who is dependent on his mother for every little thing. The movie highlights how he manages to take care of his own self and finally becomes independent. Making his movie debut, A R Ravindra directed the 2017 Kannada drama Chalagaara, featuring Manjunath Hegde and Padma Vasanthi in the lead.
