Aakanksha Singh is an actor shaped by theatre and a long relationship with storytelling. Born in Jaipur in 1991, she grew up around performance, with her mother being a theatre artist. Singing, dancing, and stage work were part of her early years, while theatre became central to her craft.

She made her television debut in 2012 with Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha. This was followed by film work across Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada cinema, including Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Malli Raava, Devadas, and Pailwaan. In recent years, she has expanded into long-format digital storytelling.

Alongside acting, Aakanksha writes poetry. In 2025, she launched her poetry platform Aks by Aakanksha, sharing a more personal creative practice.
