A popular personality in the Marathi TV, film and theatre industry, Abhijeet Chavan is an actor who is known for mostly portraying comedic roles. Best remembered for his role as `Master`, in the Marathi comedy series, Comedy Express, he is popular among the Marathi audience for his dialogue, `Benchvar.... Bench var ubha Karen.`

Having started his career on the silver screen with a small role in the 1999 Hindi film Split Wide Open, he subsequently starred in Marathi films like Shan (2006), Gojiri (2007), Ugly (2013), Slambook (2015), Rocky Handsome (2016), Ventilator (2016), Cycle (2018), Perfume (2019), Chhatrapati Shasan (2019), Rampaat (2019) and Vajvuya Band Baja (2020).
