An RJ with over a decade to his credit, Abhilash Thapliyal has been associated with few of India's top radio stations. However, his most prominent work came with his association with Mumbai's leading radio station Red FM, where he hosted the Kaan Phaad Show and also pranked people and celebrities on Red FM's Shendi. Meanwhile, he became an Internet sensation after posting videos, posing as Arvind Kejriwal in his spoof videos calling the series Muffler Man.

Not only is Abhilash an RJ, he has also been associated with television channels such as Nat Geo, Bindass, Fox History, Hungama, and Cartoon Network as a voice actor. After being a part of Red FM for close to two years, Abhilash took a break from RJ-ing in order to experiment with other things, when he was offered to be a part of ad filmmaker Aleya Sen Sharma's directorial debut Dil Juunglee, featuring Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem in the lead.
