Born to veteran Bollywood actress Bhagyashree and Himalaya Dasani, Abhimanyu Dassani followed the footstep of his parents and moved to California to study acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and New York Film Academy. After he returned to India, he continued his practices at Anupam Kher`s institute and later went on to assist Rohan Sippy for films like Dum Maro Dum (2011) and Nautanki Saala (2013).

In 2019, Abhimanyu Dasani made his Bollywood debut with Ronnie Srewvala`s Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota opposite Radhika Madan.
