After making his acting debut in 2012 with the short film Artificial, Abhinav Gomatam was seen in two other short films titled The Delivery, and Machan Enaku Iniki Kalyanam, however, he only made his feature film debut in 2015 with the movie Jagannatakam. Upon making his debut, he went on to feature in the 2017 release Malli Raava after which he acted in the 2018 Telugu drama Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi. His 2019 releases include Jessie and Meeku Maathrame Cheptha.
