Entrepreneur and film producer Abhini Sohan is a key figure in Aries Group of Companies, a multinational conglomerate that has also ventured into Malayalam cinema through its film production wing Aries Telecasting Pvt. Ltd. She started out by bankrolling the sci-fi disaster film Dam 999 (2011), which was directed by her husband and filmmaker Sohan Roy. This was followed by the horror film St. Dracula 3D (2012) and the well-received drama film Jalam (2016).

In 2018, Abhini produced the Malayalam movie Aickarakkonathe Bhishaguaranmaar, which starred Sivaji Guruvayur, Seema G. Nair and Lalu Alex in central roles, and was directed by Biju Majeed.
