Filmmaker Abhishek Arvind Kelkar began his artistic journey in theatre, directing acclaimed plays like Nyayi (2005), Bisavi Sadi ka Katha Kolaj (2006) and Andharun Alya Divasan Vishayi (2007) early on in his career. Subsequently, he ventured into Hindi and Marathi cinema as an associate director in movies like Zor Laga Ke Haiya (2009), Laagali Paij (2009) and Bluff Master (2011).


After over a decade in showbiz as a theatre practitioner, associate director and screenwriter, Kelkar made his feature film directorial debut in 2019 with the Marathi movie Adham.
