An Indian screenwriter, director, and film marketer, Abhishek Chatterjee primarily works in Hindi cinema. Having started his career in the film industry as the marketing head for films like My Birthday Song and Shab, Abhishek made his debut as a screenwriter with the film Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz in 2018. Prior to that, Abhishek has been writing and directing short films since 2010. His short film Gutthi not only won wide critical appreciation but was also nominated for the Director's Vision Award at the 10th Indian Film Festival Stuttgart in 2013.

Apart from writing and marketing, Abhishek has also been associated with Lost The Plot, a leading platform for exhibiting independent and documentary films as the content curator. He also writes for Madaboutmoviez, one of India's most recognized blogging sites for independent and regional cinemas.
