Best known for playing the younger version of Shah Rukh Khan in the My Name is Khan, Adarsh Gourav is an Indian singer, songwriter, and actor who is noted for his work in Bollywood cinema. An alumnus of Narsee Monjee College, Mumbai, Adarsh started his career in music at a very early age; he formed his own band called Oak Island with his college friends. He subsequently went on to work in various TV advertisements for renowned brands like Dominos, SBI, Bourbon biscuit, and Airtel. He made his debut in a commercial film called Banana in 2013, which was produced by John Abraham Entertainment. Later, whilst in his final year of college, Adarsh collaborated with acclaimed filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap on an international short film called `Clean Shaven`, which was part of an anthology film named Madly that was produced by MTV International. His 2017 release includes Rukh, a drama mystery film directed by Atanu Mukherjee.
