Adrian Johnston is a British musician who works both in film and television industry. He started his career as a drummer in various bands including Moles for Breakfast, The Waterboys, The Wanglers, Combo Zombo, and The Mike Flowers Pop. He has also scored productions for the esteemed Royal National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. His first film score was for the 1996 film Jude. His other notable original score is Becoming Jane (2007), a film about the English novelist Jane Austen. He won the BAFTA award for the BBC film Capturing Mary. Adrian has also won the Primetime Emmy award for his score in Charles Sturridge`s mini-series Shackleton. His 2018 projects include Strangers: Prey at Night.
