Daughter of popular veteran actress Lakshmi, Aishwarya Bhaskar is an Indian film actress who is active in Tamil and Malayalam films and television, but now features predominantly in supporting roles. Recipient of Asianet Television Award 2011 for Best Actress in a Negative Role for her performance in the Malayalam serial Paarijatham, Aishwarya has appeared in several Malayalam serials such as Kadamattath Kathanaar, Swami Ayyappan, and 4 the People on Asianet. She was also seen in Tamil serials like Muhurtham, Raja Rajeswari and Thendral on Sun TV. She has featured in several Tamil movies like Thaiyalkaran, Thanga Pappa, Panchathantiram, Pennin Manathai Thottu, Savaale Samaali, and Pazhani, to name a few popular ones. She is known for her roles as the wife of a kick-boxer in M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi (2004), mother of Trisha`s character in Abhiyum Naanum (2008), and the wife of Prakash Raj`s character in the G. V. Prakash Kumar-starrer Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru (2016). She was seen in Malayalam movies like Narashimham, Praja, The Fire, Agninakshathram, For Sale, and Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla. Her 2017 Tamil venture includes the crime thriller film Police Raajyyam starring her as one of the leads.
