Entering the industry in 2012 as a writer and lyricist with Satrangi Re, Ajay Kishor Naik is a director, story writer, music director and lyricist in the Marathi film industry. In 2013 he wrote, directed and produced the romantic comedy, Lagna Pahave Karun. Ajay next directed the romantic movie, Baavare Prem He in 2014. He has also composed music for Konkani movies like Mortoo (2015), Suring (2016) and Martin (2017). In 2018 Ajay directed Aaroh Velankar, Prarthana Behere, Aishwarya Kapare, Akshay Tanksale, Chinmay Patwardhan and Ankita Lande in the college drama, Hostel Days.
