Starting off as a media planner for several top agencies, Ajit R Rajpal also served as a Creative Director for K Sera Sera, before jumping into the Bollywood film industry as a writer with Nasha (2013). He finally realised his dream of becoming a filmmaker with the 2017 Punjabi movie, Hard Kaur. Ajit next worked with Akshay Anand to write the story for Akshay's directorial debut. The movie, Jaane Kyun De Yaaron released in 2018. The cast included Akshay Anand, Kabir Bedi, Daya Pandey, Hitesh Bhardwaj, Usha Nadkarni, Viju Khote and Chetna Pande in important roles.
