Marathi film producer Ajit Satam ventured into showbiz in 2015 by bankrolling the Swapnil Joshi starrer Welcome Zindagi, which in turn was a remake of the Bengali film Hemlock Society (2012). Other significant movie credits as a producer include the 2018 comedy Looose Control.
