Ajith Kollam is an Indian film actor, who has been active in Malayalam cinema since more than three decades. Known for playing mainly villain roles, his prominent work was seen in movies like Parannu Parannu Parannu (1984), No.20 Madras Mail (1990), Nirnayam (1995), Aaraam Thampuran (1997), The Tiger (2005), Chekavar(2010), Teja Bhai & Family (2011) and Ivan Ardhanaari (2012). He turned director with the 2016 movie Calling Bell, for which he was the story, screenplay and dialogue writer, and also starred in it. His 2017 directorial venture includes the drama film Pakal Pole, in which he plays the lead role opposite Bindu Ramakrishnan and Kanakalatha Pilla.
