Akshay made his debut in Kannada movie industry with the movie Josh, directed by Mr. Shivamani. He has also acted in movies like Dhool, AyodyaPuram, O Premave, Kumari 21-F. In his 2019 release, Night Out, Akshay plays a multi shaded character, a role he has never played in his career.
