A popular name in the American TV industry, Alan Ruck is a TV and film actor who has starred in more than 50 series and 30 films. Best known for playing the role of Cameron Frye in Ferris Bueller`s Day Off (1986), Ruck started his acting career with the 1983 feature film Bad Boys. The veteran actor has predominantly played supporting roles in commercially successful films. Some of his notable credits on the silver screen include Shooter (1998), Speed (1994), Walking to the Waterline (1998), Cheaper by the Dozen (2003), Ghost Town (2008), Don`t You Forget About Me (2009), War Machine (2017) and Gringo (2018), an American action comedy directed by Nash Edgerton.

Apart from working in feature films, Ruck has an elaborate career in the TV industry. Having made his debut on the small screen with the TV film Hard Knox in 1984, he later starred in shows like Picket Fences (1993), Muscle (1995), before eventually becoming a household name with his role in Spin City (1996-2002). His other notable credits in a TV series include Medium (2007), CSI: Miami (2010), Intelligence (2014), The Exorcist (2016) and The Loud House (2016).
