Alan Sharp was a Scottish novelist and screenwriter. He published his first novel “A Green Tree in Gedde” in the year 1965. His various film credits includes Dean Spanley (2008), Cat Chaser (1990), Little Treasure (1985) and Night Moves (1975). He won the Scottish Arts Council Award for his debut novel A Green Tree in Gedde.
