Aleks Paunovic is a Canadian actor who started his career as a boxer and later turned a rock singer after suffering from a shoulder injury at the 1999 Pan American Games. After is brief stint with the band, Paunovic focused on becoming an actor and made his acting debut in a feature film with Karken: Tentacles of the Deep (2006). He subsequently starred in films like Maneater (2007), The Marine 3: Homefront (2013), Vendetta (2015) and his 2017 release includes War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), an American science fiction directed by Matt Reeves. Apart from films Paunovic has also worked in several TV series'; after making his debut on the small screen with Riverworld (2010), the actor also starred Even of Destruction (2013), Zoo (2015-17) and Van Helsing (2016). His 2018 release includes Siberia.
