An ad filmmaker, Aleya Sen Sharma is the co-founder of one of India's leading production house called Chrome Pictures. Since establishing Chrome Pictures, Aleya has worked with reputed brands such as Wagh Bakri, Godrej, Rasna, NDTV, Idea, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), and McDonald's. However, her most recognized work remains to be the Silent National Anthem, which featured students with hearing and speech disability, singing the National Anthem in sign language.
Having studied Fine Arts from Delhi College of Arts and then later going on to attend a film appreciation course in Pune, the entertainment business and movies came naturally to Aleya. Fourteen years after establishing Chrome Pictures, Aleya made her directorial debut in 2018 with the romantic comedy Dil Juunglee, which features Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem in lead roles.
