Algenis Perez Soto is a Dominican actor whose claim to fame was the film Sugar in 2008 for which he learned to speak English. He then featured in Samba Francisco Castillo (2017), La Isla Rota (2018) before he became a part of the Marvel cinematic universe with Captain Marvel (2019).
