Alice Howell was a silent film comedy actress from New York City. She was an actress, known for Laughinf Gas (1914), Cinderella Cinders (1920), The Pride of the Force (1925) and Wandering Daughters (1923). She was married to Richard Smith and Benjamin Vincent Shevlin. She died on April 12, 1961 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She was the mother of actress Yvonne Howell.
