A veteran Indian TV personality, Alka Amin is noted for her work in Hindi TV industry and is best remembered for her roles as Veena Chopra in Parichay (2011-13) and as the wife of Shah Rukh Khan in Dil Dariya (1988-89). In her illustrious career, Alka has starred in about 10 series` and five movies. Some of her popular TV credits include 12/24 Krol Bagh (2009-10), Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh (2014-15), Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil (2016-17) and Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai (2018).

After working in the TV industry for more than 15 years, Alka made her debut on the silver screen with Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015). Her 2018 releases include Khajoor Pe Atke, Karim Mohammed and Kedarnath.
