Allen Hughes (born April 1, 1972, Detroit, Michigan, US) is an American film director, producer and screenwriter. He is professionally known as one of the Hughes brothers and worked with him. His famous works includes direction and production of the films Menace II Society (1993), American Pimp (1999) and From Hell (2001). He also worked in music videos like Inner City Blues (Make Me Wanna Holler), and Thoughtless.
