Althaf Salim is an Indian film actor who was first seen in the popular Malayalam romantic comedy film Premam (2015), starring Nivin Pauly, Madonna Sebastian, Sai Pallavi, and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles. He then went on to star in the drama film Sakhavu in 2017 as the friend of the lead character essayed by Nivin Pauly. Directed by Sidhartha Siva, the movie received mixed reviews. Althaf is also a director whose 2017 venture includes the Malayalam comedy film Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela starring Nivin Pauly, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Ahaana Krishna in the lead roles. Produced by the lead actor Nivin Pauly under his home production banner Pauly Jr. Pictures, Althaf is also one of the writers of the movie alongwith George Kora.
