Born and raised in Anaheim, California, Alyson Reed is an American actress and dancer. At the age of 4, Alyson began ballet and started performing in musicals. Reed performed as Alice in Wonderland at the Disneyland theme park and was also a performer at Knott`s Berry Farm. Reed made her Broadway debut in Dancin` in 1978. Her other Broadway credits include Dance a Little Closer, Cabaret, A Grand Night for Singing, and Marilyn: An American Fable.

She has also been nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Cabaret and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical for Marilyn. Her recent project includes the film, Ad Astra.
