Syed Amaan Ahmad is a writer, artist, director and philosopher. He is the founder of The Unknown Pen.
Writing has been his passion since he was old enough to hold a pencil. He has directed and written several original theatre plays. Amaan has also written and directed a short film 'Carnitapu' which has won many International Film awards. He has also directed an experimental feature film 'The Oblivion' which is currently in post production. Amaan's work is mainly dark and philosophical. He applies the elements of surrealism, symbolism, and absurdism to his works. In addition to writing poems, stories, scripts and screenplays, Amaan is also a painter and a sketch artist. His style is abstract expressionism.
