Best known for playing the role of Alex Mongomery in the Oprah Winfrey Newtork, prime-time soap opera, If Loving You Is Wrong, Amanda Clayton is an American TV and film actress. Having completed her studies at the University of Rhode Island, Clayton moved to New York to study at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.
Having started her acting career by appearing in short films, she got her big break when she starred in the 2012 feature film John Carter. Her other popular film credits include Little Red Elephant (2012), The Bet (2016) and Bleed for This (2017), a biographical sports drama directed by Ben Young. Apart from working in films, Clayton also has worked extensively in TV series'. Some of her other popular TV appearances include The Mentalist (2012), Victorious (2013), Constantine (2015), Major Crimes (2016) and Rosewood (2016).
