Amar Upadhyay is an Indian television actor who rose to prominence with his breakthrough role of Mihir Virani in the popular serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. His other popular role is of Dharam Kumar Suryavanshi in the serial Saath Nibhana Saathiya. He also starred in television serials Saathiya - Pyar Ka Naya Ehsaas, Viraasat and Chand Ke Paar Chalo. He featured in the movies Dahshat, Dhund: The Fog and LOC Kargil. His 2017 venture includes the comedy film Aav Taru Kari Nakhu, under the direction of Rrahul Mevawala, starring Monal Gajjar, Manisha Kanojia and Aditya Kapadia in the lead roles. His 2021 release includes Kaagaz.
