An alumnus of Barry John`s Theatre Action Group (TAG), Amit Sial debuted in cinema with a central role in the Indian English-language film Hope and a Little Sugar in 2006. Since then, he has gone on to earn a reputation as a talented character actor through well-received performances in movies like LSD: Love, Sex Aur Dhokha (2010), the thriller drama Titli (2014) and Raid (2018). Besides this, Sial is also known for his portrayal of cricketer Devender Mishra in the web tv series Inside Edge (2017) and Maurya in the critically acclaimed web tv show Mirzapur (2018).

Other significant movie credits include The Coffin Maker (2013), the comedy-drama Umrika (2015), the black comedy drama Bombairiya (2019), Sonchiriya (2019) and Shuruaat Ka Twist (2019).
