Amiya Ranjan Patnaik is an Indian film director and producer who works predominantly in the Odia film industry. He made his directorial debut with Mamata Mage Mula (1985). The movie was also his first venture as a producer. Since then he has produced movies like Hakim Babu (1985), Raja Rani (1989), Asuchi Mo Kalia Suna (1989), Paradesi Babu (1999) and Babu I Love You (2005). In 2015 he returned to the director`s chair to churn out the multiple award winning movie, Tulasi Apa. The movie was screened at several film festivals since 2015 and finally got a theatrical release in 2017. It has Barsha Nayak, Sujit Paikrai and Mamata Panda in prominent roles.
