About
Amoghavarsha is a wildlife photographer and a filmmaker hailing from Bangalore, India. He started out as a software engineer for Amazon and then moved to a start-up company before quitting to pursue his passion for wildlife photography. In 2016 he started his own media company known as Mudskipper.

Over the years he has worked with government forest departments, non-profit organisations and media institutions on conservation and education projects. His credits include projects for which he has worked with National Geographic and BBC. His work has been internationally recognised, granting him opportunities to present his work at the United Nations Climate Change Conference amidst world leaders. The focus of his work is on the use of media and technology in the process of conservation. In 2019 he worked on Wild Karnataka, a documentary on the rich biodiversity of Karnataka. The film is India`s first blue-chip natural history movie and is narrated by David Attenborough.
