Actor, music composer, and singer Amresh Ganesh is the son of South Indian movie star Jayachitra. Amresh made his acting debut at the age of three in 1991 with Pudhiya Raagam, which was produced and directed by his mother. He then returned to the big screen in 2010 with Naane Ennul Illai, which was again directed by his mother. Before his debut as a lead actor, Amresh worked on the music of an independent four-language music album titled Jeevitham, which won him immense praise and recognition. After failing to make it as an actor, Amresh began working as a composer and has been associated with movies like Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva, Pottu, Garjanai, and Yung Mung Sung. His 2018 release includes Tamil action comedy Bhaskar Oru Rascal. His 2019 releases include Charlie Chaplin 2 and Sathru.
