Amrita Raichand (Amrita) is an Indian actress and model, born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand (India). Amrita got married to Rahul Raichand, a sports enthusiast and entrepreneur, and they have a son named Agastya Raichand. She made her television debut with endorsements for brands such as Whirlpool Home Appliances and as anchor of game shows on TV, award functions such as the WOW awards, Big Nite, Ace Tech awards for builders, etc. She began her acting career with a Hindi TV show, Mahi Way and also acted in Mummy Ka magic, which received the award for Best cookery show at 2012 the Indian Telly Awards. Amrita made her debut in Hindi films with the film Baat Bann Gayi and also acted in Kaanchi, Detective Naani etc.
