An IT professional Amrut Athavale left his lucrative job to start his own media agency Sixteen by Sixty-four Media back in 2008, which is the parent company of the event management company JoySmiths Pvt. Ltd. Amrut is also an event planner, be it corporate events or wedding. In 2017, he, along with his co-partners Keyur Godse and Neeraj Biniwale, produced the 2017 Marathi family drama Baapjanma, marking his feature film debut as a producer.
