Romanian actress Ana Ularu is best familiar to the American audience for her roles in movies like Serena (2014) and Inferno (2016); and the fantasy television series Emerald City (2017). Besides this, she has also appeared in a number of Romanian movies, among which are the critically acclaimed The Paper Will Be Blue (2006), the action film Outbound (2010) and the comedy-drama I Am an Old Communist Hag (2013).

Her work in Outbound (2010) earned Ularu several accolades, including the Best Actress Award at the Locarno International Film Festival and the Shooting Stars Award at the Berlin International Film Festival. Other notable acting credits in recent times include the British drama film Chosen (2016), the tv series The Borgias (2011-`13) and the Hollywood crime thriller Siberia (2018).
