One of the most prominent musicians in Bollywood during the 1980's and the 1990's, Anand Chitragupth made his debut as a music composer with Ab Ayega Mazaa (1984). Over the years, he composed music for more than 50 films. Some of his notable films include Jalwa (1987), Anjaane Rishte (1989), Bandh Darwaza (1990), Mr. Bond (1992), Madhosh (1994), Suhaag (1994), Yeshwant (1997), Chuppa Rustam: A Musical Thriller (2001), Rakht (2004), and Dil Bhi Khaali Jeb Bhi Khaali (2014).
