Anand Payyanur is an Indian movie producer who started his career with the 2017 Malayalam film Minnaminungu, under the direction of Anil Thomas, which revolves around a struggling middle-aged mother. Anand's other venture in the year includes the Tamil neo noir action crime Richie, directed by Gautham Ramachandran, starring Nivin Pauly, Natarajan Subramaniam, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli and Shraddha Srinath. His 2018 release includes the action thriller, Ranam - Detroit Crossing. Directed by Nirmal Sahadev, the movie stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Rahman in pivotal roles.
