Ananda Krishnan is an Indian film director who has primarily worked in Tamil cinema. He made his debut with the critically acclaimed film Aal, which released in 2014. The director who started his career as an assistant director to Susi Ganeshan for Kanthaswamy also turned producer and writer for his second directorial venture titled Metro (2016), a Tamil-language film starring Shirish Saravanan, Bobby Simha and Sendrayan. The movie, which is dubbed in Telugu with the same name released in March 2017.
