Anandaraj Selvaraj, known mononymously as Anandaraj, is an Indian actor who appears primarily in Tamil films. He made his acting debut in the 1988 film Oruvar Vaazhum Aalayam and has since appeared in over a hundred films in the course of a career spanning over three decades, mostly in negative roles. Some of his best known works include Pulan Visaranai (1990), Gang Leader (1991), Baashha (1995), Makkal Aatchi (1995), Suryavamsam (1997) and Pokkiri (2007). He has also appeared in lead roles in a handful of films like Palaivana Paravaigal (1990) and Kaaval Nilayam (1991). In 2014, Anandaraj made his Bollywood debut with the Ajay Devgn starrer Action Jackson. Other significant acting credits include Ragasiya Police (1995), Simmarasi (1998), Maragadha Naanayam (2017), Sathya (2017), Gulaebaghavali (2018), Dammunte Sommera (2018), Iravukku Aayiram Kangal (2018) and Bigil (2019).
