A gifted lyricist with around 800 film songs to his credit in a career spanning over a decade, Anantha Sriram is known primarily for his work in Telugu cinema. Since his debut in the 2005 movie Kadante Avunanile, Sriram has worked in around a hundred films and with celebrated musicians like A.R. Rahman and Illaiyaraja; winning several prestigious accolades along the way including the Nandi Award and Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist.
Some of his best-known works include the song Go Go Gova from the Chiranjeevi starrer Stalin (2006), Yenthentha Dhooram from the musical romantic drama Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu (2012), Bhaje Bhaaje from Gopala Gopala (2015), Pachcha Bottesi from Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Dhooram from Arjun Reddy (2017). Among Anantha's other significant film credits in recent times are Yevade Subramanyam (2015), the Naga Chaitanya starrer Sahasam Swasaga Saagipo (2016) and the romantic comedy Geetha Govindam (2018).
