Born to Bollywood actor Chunky Panday and his wife Bhavna Pandey, Ananya Panday is an Indian film actress, primarily associated with the Hindi film industry. An alumna of Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Ananya went on to study at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, before returning to Mumbai to pursue her career in acting. Making her Bollywood debut at the age of 18, Ananya bagged one of the three lead roles in Karan Johar`s Student of the Year 2, co-starring Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. Her 2019 release includes Pati Patni Aur Woh, directed by Mudassar Aziz. Her 2020 release includes Khaali Peeli. She then featured in Gehraiyaan (2022) alongside Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Post that, she featured in Liger (2022) opposite Vijay Deverakonda. Her performance in Dream Girl 2 (2023) and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023) were well-received. She then voiced Riley in Hindi for the film Inside Out 2 (2024). Her other movies include Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh and Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.
