Anders Thomas Jensen is a Danish film director and screenwriter. He is best known for his Academy Award-winning short comedy films like Election Night (1995) and The New Tenants (2009). He has also written the drama-thriller movie In a Better World (2010), which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film and the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film. His other notable films include The Salvation (2014), The Dark Tower (2017) and Daniel (2019).
