With a film career spanning nearly two decades, Andreas Apergis is a Canadian TV and movie actor, director, and translator. He made his acting debut with the TV movie, Streets of Vengeance (1988). Apergis made his big screen debut with the 1990 fantasy-thriller, You're Driving Me Crazy. Over the years Apergis has starred in several French and English language movies such as The Pianist (1991), Hollow Point (1996), Silent Trigger (1996), Running Home (1999), The Invention of Love (2000), L'ange de goudron (2001), Riders (2002), Serveuses demandees (2008), Omerta (2012), White House Down (2013), Riddick (2013), Brick Mansions (2014), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), Pawn Sacrifice (2014), Gurov and Anna (2014), The Forbidden Room (2015), Nitro Rush (2016), Bon Cop Bad Cop 2 (2017), and Mother! In 2018 Apergis acted in director Eli Roth's vigilante-drama, Death Wish. The movie is a remake of the 1974 Michael Winner movie of the same name, with Charles Bronson in the lead. Both the movies are based on the 1972 novel of the same by Brian Garfield. While Bruce Willis plays the lead role, the movie also has Elisabeth Shue, Vincent D'Onofrio and Dean Norris in important roles.
